Human Design Projectors as Pop Culture Characters

What is Human Design?

Human Design is a comprehensive modern system that pulls from 4 ancient systems.

The vastness of Astrology, I-Ching, Ayurveda, and Kabbalah all drawn together make an extremely powerful practice that is able to deeply analyze your unique cosmic design and break it down into SUPER understandable information!

With Human Design we can find out anything from your purpose in this lifetime to what environments your body prefers to be in to how your intuition works!

Once you integrate your Human Design, you will experience greater ease in your life, less suffering and challenges, and greater success and happiness!

Plus, knowing your Human Design and your partner’s or kid’s can instantly change the balance in your relationship together.

What is a Projector?

A Projector is 1 of the 5 design types in Human Design.

Projectors make up about 20% of the population and didn’t start showing up on Earth until the late 1700s!

Projectors are like the Gandalfs and Dumbledores of the world. They are here to be wise guides who can effortlessly see everyone’s gifts and challenges.

They possess the ability to sense the deeper meaning and then project directly into someone’s core, reaching the truest parts of a person. In this deep wisdom and insight, they can help all the other design types bring about their highest potential and help humanity build a better world.

There are 3 types of projectors: energy projectors, mental projectors, and classic projectors!

So let’s Dive in and see what cool pop culture characters best illustrate how Projectors work!

DUMBLEDORE

Well, no surprise here! I said Projectors are like the Dumbeldores of the world already, so here he is!

Dumbledore is a natural leader who recognizes the importance for him to take up the mantle to lead the future of wizards instead of the Ministry!

He was highly sought after (good and bad) for his impeccable skills and gifts! He seems to have limitless knowledge and always knows what to say at the right time.

He has great instinctual intuition! He understands what is best for the greater good, even if that means he won’t be around to see it. RIP

Lastly, Dumbledore is able to guide his fellow teachers and students to the path that is best for them (HELLO SNAPE!) And of course, he is a great (although not always present) surrogate father figure for Harry as he comes into his own.

GANDALF

If you guessed the second one would be Gandalf, give yourself a little treat! At least the last 3 will be surprises now! Haha

Gandalf is also a powerful wizard in the Lord of the Rings universe.

He can assemble a team of people to complete the impossible task of destroying the ring of power. He makes the most “unlikely” choice of making Frodo and Samwise in charge of carrying the ring. People question his judgment, but he is able to see the Hobbits for their inherent gifts, as well as everyone else he gathers.

Despite the pushback and people not even believing in themself, he stands firm in his intuition and makes sure that the heroes understand how important and capable they are of the big world-altering task.

Gandalf also understands where he is needed most and leaves each person to handle their own challenges. He doesn’t have enough energy to complete his own task needed to save the world AND hold Frodo’s hand along the way.

However, he does sense exactly the right part of the process that he needs to jump in (HELLO BALROG). Which is what makes him an effective leader. He is hands-on when it’s important and when self-discovery is needed.

And lastly, his power is not corrupted like Saruman. He stays true to himself even when tempted by the power of the ring. He knows his own limits and does what is necessary to stay true to them.

CHARLIE (FROM CHARLIE’S ANGELS)

Charlie is the elusive boss and mastermind behind the missions and team known as Charlie’s Angels.

In every iteration of this show/movie, he is represented by a speaker because of the sensitive nature of his work. He understands the conditions he needs to do his high-level work and chooses to do it privately. In this way Charlie is like a Projector, protecting his limited energy and taking up his valuable alone time away from other people’s energy.

Charlie has assembled a team of HOT WOMEN! * gasp * And not only hot women but women who have a criminal record or a very unique past. He doesn’t get caught up in the bureaucracy of things. He understands that these women are exactly right for the job BECAUSE of their history.

Charlie in his infinite power, is able to choose the missions his team will be able to take on. And even chooses which team members handle each mission. He uses his ability to guide and see patterns to make sure his team is the most effective they can be.

Lastly, he can see your blocks and intentions effortlessly. Sniffing out corruption and danger, understanding emotions behind things, and so much more! Truly a visionary!

CLASSIC VAMPIRE

The classic vampire, meaning the Dracula vampire from Bram Stoker’s Dracula. This is not an Edward Cullen or Selene!

In the rules and regulations that vampires have to follow, Dracula has to wait for an invitation to enter your home. Projectors are designed to wait for an invitation from something or someone in their world before they begin their guidance and advice. It is important for them to not overextend their brilliance because people won’t appreciate it and they will end up being burnt out and bitter for overgiving.

Vampires have cool abilities, but classically people are terrified of them! Projectors are similar because they can see what needs to be shifted, healed, or fixed and often people are not ready to hear these things.

As mentioned in the beginning of the blog post Projectors possess the ability to pierce right into your core energetically. Vampires can do the same thing, putting people under their “thrall”. Dracula can sense people’s fears and project them into his victims’ minds, making them “lose it”.

Because Projectors are doing high-level energetic work naturally, they need to prioritize their body’s natural rhythms and needs. If they push themselves too much and try to act like a Generator they can get physical illness. Vampires, although having immense powers, are restricted to only operating at night. Therefore, they have to work at night or risk getting burnt to a crisp!

As mentioned, alone time is important to Projectors to be in their own energy. Having solitude helps them detox others’ energy and realign. Vampires aren’t historically gregarious or friendly. They operate on their own as their lifestyle is easier with fewer people involved.
