Human Design Manifestors as Pop Culture Characters
What is Human Design?
Human Design is a comprehensive modern system that pulls from 4 ancient systems.
The vastness of Astrology, I-Ching, Ayurveda, and Kabbalah all drawn together make an extremely powerful practice that is able to deeply analyze your unique cosmic design and break it down into SUPER understandable information!
With Human Design we can find out anything from your purpose in this lifetime to what environments your body prefers to be in to how your intuition works!
Once you integrate your Human Design, you will experience greater ease in your life, less suffering and challenges, and greater success and happiness!
Plus, knowing your Human Design and your partner’s or kid’s can instantly change the balance in your relationship together.
What is a Manifestor?
A Manifestor is 1 of the 5 design types in Human Design.
Manifestors make up about 8% of the population, making them the 2nd most rare design type!
A Manifestors main function is to create energy in the world. They are here to birth ideas, visions, movements, and more into this world! They are exactly what they sound like, experts at manifesting their inner world.
Manifestors have a closed and repelling aura that can sometimes be jarring for people. Energetically people will sense the repellent and mistake it for brusqueness. However, a Manifestor’s aura will expand and repel other auras to make way for their visions to come into the world. It is just what is necessary for them to make their magic happen!
All Manifestors have a defined throat center because bringing ideas into the world is tied to the throat center in Human Design. The throat is where they get their power from!
Manifestors are the only design type that doesn't have to wait for an external response to make a decision. They are here to bring forth the things they are drawn to, as opposed to waiting for opportunities to come to them.
So let’s Dive in and see what cool pop culture characters best illustrate how Manifestors work!
PHINEAS FLYNN (FROM PHINEAS & FERB)
Anyone who has seen this cartoon knows that Phineas is a pure ideator! The premise of the show is that he and his brother are on summer break from school and every single day they find super interesting shenanigans to get into.
At the top of each episode, Phineas announces what cool idea or activity they are going to tackle that day. Just like a Manifestor, Phineas informs the world around him of the ideas he would like to see happen in the world.
In true plot-thickening fashion, Phineas does elaborate schemes and goes to great lengths (more than a real kid would be able to accomplish) and NEVER tells his mom. They almost destroy the city every day and then come home right in time to make it seem like nothing inappropriate was going on. Manifestors aren’t designed to ask for permission, they are supposed to announce what they are doing, and then go for it!
Just like a Manifestor, Phineas comes up with the coolest ideas and challenges that inspire him. All Manifestors are supposed to march to the beat of their own drum, creating the world they want to see.
This means that they don’t like to be watched over, restricted, or influenced either. Other people might not see the vision that Manifestors have until it is complete; which is exactly what happens when Phineas’ older sister tries to stop his plans and get him in trouble every episode.
Because Phineas’ ideas are so cool and grand, he often involves his entire community. Manifestors are supposed to change the world, and that wouldn’t happen if others didn’t help along the way!
BATMAN
The brooding, millionaire superhero Batman is such a great example of a Manifestor!
Batman embraces the dark and intense energy as part of his crime-fighting persona and that definitely rubs people the wrong way. In the many iterations of his life, it even takes a while for the police commissioner to understand his process and trust him. This is very similar to the repelling and intense aura that Manifestors have. People can feel this aura before they enter the room!
Batman famously “works alone”, struggling to let other heroes like Robin and Batwoman join his team. Manifestors need a lot of alone time without other people’s energy in their space. This allows them to clearly see their own visions without distractions and other people trying to change things. In addition, the alone time allows them to decompress from being around other people’s energy, helping them realign.
Batman struggles with the anger from losing his parents. In each universe he belongs to, he has to find a way to work through that anger to come to the conclusion that he wants to make Gotham City a better place through his vigilance. For Manifestors, their “not self theme” is anger. This means that when a Manifestor feels anger towards someone or something in their life, they aren’t “living in their design”. Anger is a feedback loop for Manifestors that there is a better or different way to operate.
Batman’s vision and mission for a better Gotham City inspires others to do better. Not just Robin and Batwoman, but even citizens! His ideas and actions help give people hope that things will be better. Manifestors are here to change the world and through following their instincts, they too will be a catalyst for change in others lives.
PAUL ATREIDES (FROM DUNE)
In the sci-fi series Dune, Paul is the messiah that brings about a better world. He is a prophesied king who will unite the factions on the planet Dune and overthrow the oppressive hierarchy with his unbelievable power.
Paul is born into the line of Atriedes and his life is already laid out for him. He starts having visions of the future and realizes that he is the chosen one despite the fact that he already has a predetermined path laid out ahead of him. Throughout the series, he has to learn to trust the path that he is tapping into despite what he was raised to do. Manifestors also have to trust their instincts because they are here to bring in things that don’t exist and aren’t prewritten either.
In trusting his instincts and path, Paul realizes he is supposed to be the messiah that will bring about the peaceful prophesied change. The internal struggle of finding his inner leader and accepting it is part of the hero’s journey he goes through. Manifestors must also learn to trust their leadership instincts. Whether or not they are a traditional leader, the things they bring into this world will change and shape it. And that is not something to be minimized.
Paul has “the voice”. In Dune, the voice is a gift reserved for women only and the prophesied man who will unite everyone. The voice is an ability that when employed bends people to your will through commanding them. Every Manifestor has a defined throat center because their voice is equally as important and impactful. In Human Design the throat is tied to bringing ideas into this world and it is part of the reason that Manifestors are supposed to INFORM people with their voice before they manifest their ideas into this reality.
In the course of changing the planet and its rulership, Paul has to create a strong enough movement to unite the various factions of Dune. He embraces the vision of the future he is creating and gets people to buy into it. Manifestors tend to look towards the future because they are bringing never-before-seen things into this world. This type of synergy requires others to join to help them execute their vision!
GODZILLA
Godzilla is a supernatural being that lives in the water. He is allegedly the Alpha of the world, although many other monsters (including man) try to challenge his throne.
In most Godzilla movies, we see some kind of antagonist trying to vie for his power. The plot of the movie showcases that Godzilla isn’t evil and destructive. He is only trying to restore the natural order of things, bringing the world back into balance. Manifestors ideas naturally facilitate order too. They are always trying to make either their world or THE world a better place!
Of course, there are many other bad things in the world that Godzilla isn’t concerned with. He chooses when he feels threatened by another monster and understands when that monster is going to through off the GREATER balance of the planet. Manifestors also do extremely high-level work and need to choose what projects or ideas they want to bring into the world and which ones will not serve their energy and time.
Needless to say, Godzilla’s actions greatly impact the course of the planet. Whether he is accidentally destroying a city or making sure someone else doesn’t; he leaves a big impact. This is the same impact that Manifestors leave on their environment when they are creating and manifesting.
In the various fight scenes with monsters, we see Godzilla’s most powerful move, atomic breath. Much like Manifestors, Godzilla’s power stems from his throat. It is with this ability to communicate and move the energy around them when doing so that Manifestors make energetic space for the manifestations to be birthed into the world.
After a fight, Godzilla returns to the depths of the oceans (or wherever he goes) taking long periods of rest. Sometimes people don’t see Godzilla for generations as he regenerates and waits until he feels the call. Manifestors need lots of time to rest too. The energy it requires for Manifestors to bring something into the world is draining and they need to prioritize maintaining balance and restoration in their life.
